Our Mission
The Towson Main Street Collaborative is dedicated to creating a vibrant, welcoming, and thriving downtown where businesses succeed, creativity flourishes, and the community comes together.

Through the Maryland Main Street Four-Point approach, we work to strengthen Towson by enhancing its unique character, supporting economic growth, promoting arts, dining, and entertainment, and fosting partnerships that make Towson with residents, businesses, students, property owners, and community partners, we are building a stronger Towson - one that celebrates its history while creating an exciting future for all.Â

Historic Preservation
Towson also has a history of invention and innovation. We are the birthplace of both handheld power tools (Black & Decker) and occupational therapy (Sheppard Pratt Hospital). The Baltimore County library system, headquartered in Towson, has an international reputation for innovation in library services. For more historic information vist:
